Photography can be so much fun, for there are so many opportunities for assignments. This could be Weddings. Sports, Travel, or Commercial/Product Photography. For locals in Bryan, Ohio, you probably have seen the Wellness matter Magazine that comes out once a quarter. The Community Hospital Wellness Center puts this on. I have had the pleasure of being their photographer for over three years now.
Staying Safe During a Pandemic
With a pandemic it sure has made time different for photographers. With Weddings being canceled, lack of travel and so on. The advertising side stayed busy. With that said, things were a lot different than the so-called normal. We were doing studio headshots outside and distance. For a few of the magazines, we were not allowed in the building, so we needed to develop things to be creative outside.
We are now allowed back in the buildings, but we need to do what most places require. Temperature Check, Mask, and Social Distance. With all of this, the theme was the hospitals doing their part, or I should say, what is CHWC doing to make sure things are safe.
The above picture was this month's front page. I wanted to show the sterilization process and to use lighting. I was the ability to show this.
Like you, I am waiting for the day to get back to what we once knew. Until then, I have learned how to adapt to what we have, and as the saying goes. '“The Show Must Go On”
