It seems that it has been forever staying home. I finally wanted to see and do something different, yet at the same time, practice. Well, I found my subject, nature, to the rescue. I went for a walk at my local park that has woods and a pond. My original plan was to practice fast autofocus subjects. With that said, there was not one duck or geese around to practice flying. I went with plan B, and that was walking in the woods and study light.
As I walk and little luck, I saw this robin in what I thought was the perfect situation, first of all, the light. If you look in the eye, you see a little sparkle or what we call the catch light. Next was the background with the water and the luck part; this robin jumped on the log. Saw the shot took the shot, and 6 seconds later, it was gone. Robins are everywhere here in Ohio, and my thought was how I could make this one stand out?
