Last week I was asked to do a product shoot for a new product that this client want’s to put on Amazon. The product was white and needed to be on a white background. Amazon has specific rules when it comes to pictures to be placed on Amazon. With that said, I love doing high key, but I have not done a lot with white on white. Well, before the client comes with their product, it was time for me to practice and make sure we accomplish what Amazon wants. I took out my favorite bottle. (trust me for arthritis it works :) I decided to go with a double diffuse for my key light. With white background. I could of possibly use a second light to light the background but decided to increase the white background in post. I only needed a tweak to get the 255 that Amazon request. After all, done, the client came with his product, and we began to shoot.

I love practicing because it builds confidence. When the client came, I was ready and new that we could produce what they wanted.
