Those that follow me know that I am originally from the great state of Wisconsin. I got a chance to go back to celebrate our two granddaughters' birthdays recently. I had a great time taking pictures, but something this year that I have been doing more and practicing is video. While enjoying the view of the Fox River, I wanted to make this in a video.
I have always loved this area ever since I was young. My father would take us down here. One thing that has changed is Pelicans on the river. I don't ever remember these birds in Wisconsin. I always thought this was a Florida thing. Well, they are here and were fun to watch. Using my iPhone for most of the footage, I also wanted to experiment with my Cannon R. Using Adobe Premiere to put it all together.
Like still photography, there is a learning skill in producing the footage and putting it all together. It takes practice, and that is what I am doing. While this will not win any Oscar's, I sure like doing video and look forward to getting better at it. Both in footage and processing. Enjoy my view of the Fox River in Appleton, Wisconsin.
