I will never forget when I was a 2nd or 3rd grader in school and came to art school. I would watch my friend next to me, and he would create cool things. For me, well let’s say I tired. I give credit to those that can draw more than stick people. As much as try, I am better off with a camera.
I was inspired threw a KelbyOne Class by Victoria Pavlo the begging of art. Now, this was a class I think I can do. I know a little with photoshop, and I know a little with a camera. This class thought me how to turn a picture into a painting. For the first time, I feel like a painter. Ok, a digital painter, but some of the concepts are the same: light, color, and a picture in your head.
I was recently in Cincinnati, Ohio. While we were walking in the park (Eden Park) I saw this partial tower. It caught my attention because of the colors. I like the picture, but after watching the class, I thought this might be stronger in painting. I am curious, what do you think. Now I am learning how to make portrait painting. Again something I alway’s like but could not put it on paper. Maybe now I can.
