As I said, one of the things I wanted to do to help my creativity is to do a 52-week project. I am doing this threw Dogwood Photography. Week 1 is a Storytelling Self Portrait. Take a picture that tells us who you are, without actually showing your face. Well, I came up with two ideas. This picture was what I thought about doing first.
How did I do it? I used natural light from a window for lighting. Placed the camera on a tripod and put it just behind my left shoulder. Set for a 10-second delay and the picture that I thought about.
Picture two was another idea I had a silhouette. With this one, I set up a 48” octa softbox for my white light background. I then set the camera again on Tripod and 10-sec delay and posed myself in front of the softbox.
Well here is week 1. Now to get ready for next week’s challenge.
